Pokémon Card Condition Guide
Raw (ungraded) Pokémon card condition is assessed by examining edges, corners, surface, centering (where relevant), scratches, whitening, dents, bends, creases, print lines, and general visible wear. Condition is based on reasonable trading-card industry standards, the listed condition, and the photos provided. Raw card condition does not guarantee any professional grading outcome.
- Near Mint (NM): Minimal to no visible wear. Sharp corners, clean edges, clean surface. May show only very minor factory imperfections.
- Lightly Played (LP): Minor wear visible on close inspection—slight edge wear, minor whitening, or a light surface scratch. Still very presentable.
- Moderately Played (MP): Moderate, clearly visible wear—edge whitening, corner wear, surface scratches, or minor creasing.
- Heavily Played (HP): Significant wear—heavy whitening, rounded corners, creases, scratches, or other notable defects.
- Damaged (DMG): Major defects such as heavy creasing, bends, tears, water damage, writing, or other serious issues.
